In January of 1935 the State Capital Area division became the fifth to affiliate with CalRTA and become the northern-most division. From the original nine charter members, we have grown to 1100 members in 27 states, Australia and Mexico. Division 5 has a long history of advocating for retirement legislation in Sacramento. The majority of the members are from two large school districts, Elk Grove Unified and Sacramento City Unified. More..
